When burdens become heavy, and life is painful, it may be difficult to reach out for help. Let’s pause and acknowledge that you have taken the first step on your path to healing. Looking for a therapist may feel overwhelming, but it will be worth your effort. I have maintained a private practice of over 16 years. During that time, I have gathered experience, skills, and sought mentors to obtain and maintain competence in my field. When you choose me as your therapist you will notice that I take a direct approach to life’s problems.
Whether it is individual struggles and growth, relational, or family issues, we will work together in a supportive environment to find the solutions that work for you. If you wish to weave your spiritual faith into your therapy I am very happy to accommodate. Whether you desire just a few sessions or want to continue therapy for a longer period we will maintain a collaborative environment in which you can move beyond the pain and into a more enjoyable life.
I believe many things influence the counseling process. Spiritual awareness and religious background are taken into consideration as well as cultural views, family structure, age, and social/economic status. With my experience in the area of marriage and families, I provide counseling services to help people create peace and balance in their lives by enhancing growth and understanding toward God, self, and others.
I am a Christian that just “happens to be a therapist.” I offer Christ-centered counseling.
For those who do not wish to incorporate faith in sessions, I will work with you and respect that decision as well. Healing and Grace are for all.
